Kenai

Seems Like We Just Left the Wrangle Mountains
Seems like weeks if not months ago we left SE Alaska, flew to Anchorage, and now have arrived on the Kenai Peninsula, even though it's only been a few days. Never have I seen so much beauty and variety of landscape in such a brief time frame, and at such a peaceful pace. It doesn't seem real or possible? But here we are... in a different part of Alaska.

We're making our base of exploration Kenai and Soldotna in the middle of the vast peninsula and both on the beautiful Kenai River. From here we hope to visit Homer, Seward, and the quaint little coastal village of Seldovia, only accessible by boat or plane.

Grateful We Met Up with Some NWA Friends There
But we're just glad to be here -- back on the scenic, adventure filled road. Still at a leisurely, friendly pace.
Then Said Goodbye to Anchorage . Rest & Recovery
Kenai Peninsula Here We Come...
