Seldovia

"Seldovia is to Alaska what Alaska is to the USA." That's what they say on their brochure, and also what we've heard several Alaskans say. So we decided to overfly Homer for the time being and spend the night there.

We were all very pleased and enjoyed our stay there very much. The people are friendly. A couple offered us a ride into town (about 1/2 mile) from the airport after showing us their airplane, and gave us a driving tour of the town answering our questions and making recomdations. The village is quaint, small, beautiful and only accessible by boat or airplane.

Hope you enjoy the photos...
